BENJAMIN FREEDMAN is a New York-based choreographer, performer, and educator.

He choreographed the Golden Globe-nominated film She Came to Me and served as Associate Director and Choreographer for Eliogabalo and David et Jonathas at West Edge Opera. His performance credits include the Mark Morris Dance Group, Sean Curran Company (as rehearsal director), The Grand Paradise, Keigwin + Company, and Company XIV. Freedman is entering his eighth season as a dancer with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, where he has been featured in productions including Champion, Salome, Ainadamar, Agrippina, and others.

Most recently, Benjamin choreographed the world premiere production of House of McQueen, currently running off-Broadway at The Mansion at Hudson Yards.

He serves on the faculty at NYU Tisch Dance.
